A meeting between the management of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC and Baiterek National Management Holding JSC with representatives of the international corporation S&P Global was held at the premises of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of Baiterek Holding, hereinafter – DBK, the Bank).
S&P Global Vice Presidents Matthew Sagers and Malick Diallo visited Astana as part of the international Astana Market Briefing conference, dedicated to global changes in energy, raw materials and commodity markets.
During the meeting, S&P Global representatives held a separate closed briefing for the management of the Holding and the Bank. They presented key conclusions, analytical assessments and sectoral insights shared at the international platform attended by investors, international financial institutions, energy companies and participants of commodity markets.
On behalf of the Holding and its subsidiaries, the meeting was attended by Rustam Karagoyshin, Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek National Management Holding JSC, Marat Yelibayev, Chairman of the Management Board of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, and Didar Karimsakov, Chairman of the Management Board of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC.
The parties discussed current trends in global energy and raw materials markets, the transformation of market architecture in Eurasia and Central Asia, the development of export infrastructure and logistics routes, the impact of geopolitical factors on regional markets, as well as Kazakhstan’s long-term economic prospects amid changes in the global economic environment.
Particular attention was paid to Kazakhstan’s investment attractiveness, sectoral risks and prospects for the development of key sectors of the economy.
