Representatives of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC participated in the POWERTECH-2025 conference on decarbonization and renewable energy in Central Asia.
DBK Managing Director Dina Zhanadil spoke at a panel session on "Green Finance and Foundations. Opportunities for sustainable financing and attracting international investment in decarbonization projects" and presented the Bank's key achievements in the field of sustainable development and initiatives to attract climate finance.
"Mixed financing plays a key role in stimulating the decarbonization of the national economy, including the mobilization of private investments aimed at sustainable development. DBK, as a key financial operator, is considering the possibility of attracting preferential climate financing from international financial organizations to finance national sustainable projects," noted Dina Zhanadil.
In addition, Dina Zhanadil noted the importance of introducing ESG principles into borrowers' activities and sharing experiences on decarbonization.
