Representatives of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of the National Managing Holding «Baiterek» JSC) and the Industrial Development Fund JSC visited Karaganda region. During the visit, Heads of DBK Marat Yelibayev and IDF Rinat Gapparov got acquainted with the work of projects from the portfolio of the DBK group and met with Governor of Karaganda region Yermaganbet Bulekbayev. The sides discussed the prospects of implementation of investment projects in the region.
Thus, during the trip, projects such as «Qaragandy Power Silicon» for the production of ferrosilicon, «QazTehna» for the production of passenger buses and special equipment, the «KamaTyresKZ» plant for the production of car tires, as well as «Silk Road Electronics» for the production of household appliances were visited. The visit to the enterprises supported by the DBK group provided a better insight into their implementation and development prospects.
«The Development Bank attaches great importance to supporting investment projects in the regions, as it contributes to economic growth and improve the quality of life of citizens. Karaganda region is historically an industrial region, and DBK intends to continue interaction with the initiators of projects in this area, which is part of the overall strategy to promote sustainable development of all regions of Kazakhstan», - Chairman of the Board Marat Yelibayev noted.
The working trip was another step in strengthening partnerships between the Bank and local executive bodies, the goal of which is to combine efforts to develop infrastructure and socially significant projects throughout the country.
