During today's working trip to the Kostanay region, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Alikhan Smailov, visited projects financed by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and thoroughly examined their status. Among them were the Allur automobile plant and the agricultural machinery production enterprise AgromashHolding KZ JSC.
The Head of the Government was briefed on the technical launch of the Chevrolet Onix car production line at the Allur plant and was acquainted with the operations of the localization center of AgromashHolding KZ JSC.
It is noteworthy that the Allur group of companies took a leading position in the automotive industry of Kazakhstan in 2023. The company specializes in the production of a full range of vehicles and produced over 70 thousand cars in 2023, which is 10 thousand more than the previous year. The brand portfolio includes JAC, Chevrolet, Kia, LADA, and Jetour. Allur has successfully implemented Industry 4.0 technologies, creating 3,500 jobs. The payments made by the Allur group of companies to the country's budget in 2023 exceeded 29.9 billion tenge.
The AgromashHolding KZ JSC is the only industrial enterprise in Kazakhstan specializing in the production of agricultural machinery under the brands ESSIL, LOVOL, KIROVETS, DEUTZ-FAHR, and offering a variety of additional products. The enterprise has created more than 600 jobs, and the total tax payments of approximately 5 billion tenge for 2023 highlight its significant contribution to the economy.
As part of the delegation, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Baiterek Holding Nurlan Baibazarov, also visited the enterprise.
«Kostanay region is a leader in the country's engineering industry. We see the results of the existing production facilities and the enormous potential of new projects in this region, and we will continue to support initiatives that contribute to the development of the manufacturing industry», noted Nurlan Baibazarov.
It is important to note that the aforementioned projects also receive support from the Development Bank of Kazakhstan's subsidiary – the Industrial Development Fund.
The portfolio of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan in the region also includes exporters of domestic products Bayan Sulu JSC and Prombaza LLP, as well as an investment project in the energy sector – the Zhel Elektrik wind station.
