On January 24, in Astana, a business forum «Kazakhstan – Bashkortostan» took place, bringing together representatives from government bodies and business communities of both sides to discuss the prospects of trade and economic relations. Marat Yelibayev, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of the NMH «Baiterek» JSC), participated in the event.
During the plenary session «Kazakhstan-Bashkortostan: Harmony of Cultures and Economic Partnership», he informed the forum participants about the work and services of the Bank.
«DBK is a state development institution aimed at financing large projects in the manufacturing industry and infrastructure and supporting export-oriented enterprises», stated Marat Yelibayev during his presentation.
To achieve these goals, DBK uses business support tools, including financing investment projects, leasing and trade financing, syndicated lending, and providing bank guarantees. The Bank's subsidiary structure, the Industrial Development Fund, is also actively involved in supporting businesses by providing leasing and financing tools for projects in the processing industry.
The head of BDK also outlined directions for cooperation that could contribute to the development of economic relations between Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan. This includes the implementation of joint investment projects in Kazakhstan, as well as financing export operations from Kazakhstan to Bashkortostan.
In conclusion, Marat Yelibayev expressed confidence that DBK's services can be beneficial for the development of economic ties between businesses in Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan and invited forum participants to further collaboration.
