In Kazakhstan, this event is held for the sixth year in a row in support of the proclamation of the International year of the Forest by the United Nations and brought together under its auspices all residents of the Republic who are concerned about the problem of preserving an ecologically safe environment. The Event is Organized by the Earth Foundation "Sustainable development".
The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in his address to the nation of Kazakhstan - "KAZAKHSTAN IN A NEW REALITY: TIME FOR ACTION" noted: "We must radically reconsider our attitude to nature, systematically increasing the environmental responsibility and culture of our citizens."
National Day of Forest Planting is intended to draw the attention of the general public and the media to the problems of green spaces in the capital, preservation of the green fund, environmental protection, and also contribute to the transformation and decoration of new adapted tree species, such as frost-resistant almonds, which are an excellent honey plant during the flowering period, help in fight against soil erosion, educate people in love and respect for nature.
In general, the event on laying the DBK Alley on the territory of AOE "Nazarbayev University" will contribute to the improvement of landscaping and beautification of the capital city of Nur-Sultan, as well as provide a dialogue between the younger generation and the leading financial institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Development Bank of Kazakhstan.

The number of projects in the field of renewable energy sources is also increasing in the Bank's loan portfolio. Only thanks to well-coordinated and close interaction, we can achieve significant results”- noted the Managing Director-Member of the Board of DBK Asset Sharipov.
The Development Bank of Kazakhstan fully supports initiatives aimed at improving the ecology of our country. In the framework of its activities, DBK follows the principles of sustainable development, including stimulating the process of transition to “green” economy, integrating environmental, social and managerial factors of sustainable development, the so-called ESG factors.
DBK was one of the first development institutions to join the “Green Office” movement aimed at creating an ecological space in which a complex of resource-saving technologies that reduce all types of environmental pollution. Since last year, the Bank has operated a system of electronic document management and electronic digital signature, which has significantly reduced the use of paper media. In July of this year, the bank developed and adopted a regulation for the application of the “Green Office” concept.
Thus, the establishment of the "DBK Alley" is an educational and awareness-raising element, the purpose of which is to form a positive public opinion based on drawing attention to problems, awakening people's feelings, their activity and awareness of everyone's responsibility for the environment condition.
