The project, supported by Development Bank and the Industrial Development Fund, became the winner of Altyn Sapa award.
On December 7 in Astana, with the participation of Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of Altyn Sapa and Paryz contests was held.
Prommashkomplekt enterprise from Pavlodar region became the winner of Altyn Sapa award in the nomination of the Best Industrial Project. The plant produces a full cycle railway wheels. Now its production capacity is 300,000 wheels per year and it provides the permanent employment for more than 700 Kazakhstani specialists.
It should be noted in 2015 Development Bank supported the project of Prommashkomplekt to create a complex for the production of railway wheels in Ekibastuz which was successfully implemented in 2018 and at the start had a capacity of 200,000 wheels per year.
Also in 2019, the plant received financial support from the Bank's subsidiary, the Industrial Development Fund, for equipment leasing to expand production capacity. As a result, the enterprise increased its capacity from 200 to 300 thousand railway wheels per year.
Development Bank congratulates the teams of Prommashkomplekt and other winners of Altyn Sapa and Paryz contests and wishes them new achievements and success in their work.
