Up to 500,000 tons of cargo is planned to be processed in 2018 by the TLC in Shymkent, put into operation with the financing of DBK

The capacities of the TLC allow to handle more than 600,000 tons of cargo per year, to ship 1,000 pallets daily and to provide customs clearance for more than 50 declarations.

The TLC acts as a point of rendering services for customs clearance and storage of goods entering the South Kazakhstan region, including transit from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan to Russia and in the opposite direction. To date, more than 1,500 pallets and boxes with vegetable products and sugar, poultry meat and canned goods, including stocks of the Stabilization Fund of Kazakhstan, are stored in the TLC.

In order to develop the trade and economic corridor Shymkent-Tashkent, it is planned to create a Kazakh-Uzbek transport and logistics joint venture (hereinafter - JV). It is expected that, within the framework of this joint venture, in particular, a "green corridor" for freight transport will be organized, which is serviced in the logistics centers of both countries, with a transport volume of 250,000-400,000 tons per year.

Since May of this year on the territory of the TLC on the principle of "one-stop shop" customs clearance services are provided, which significantly reduced the time of issuance of one declaration from one day to 30 minutes.
