Project Description 

Capital expenditure for:

1) Reconstruction of OHL 220-500 kV of KEGOC branches;

2) Strengthening of the Power Grid of the Western Zone of UPS in Kazakhstan.

Targeted social effects of the Project:

- Reconstruction and reinforcement of OHL as a strategic facility for the country ensuring uninterrupted and safe supply of electricity to consumers;

- Emission reduction standard – 11.63 (t/year) actual – 9.79 (t/year);

- Reduction of gross emissions – up to 16%;

- Technical losses – 5,6 %;

- Reduction of electricity consumption – 4,392 mln kWh;

- Creation of jobs for the construction period – 453 employees.
